The wired LED can be driven from the Morsel and Ditto without having to worry about the electrical characteristics or connecting any other parts.

The wires are 20cm (approx. 8in) in length. A Coupler may be used to extend the wires without having to solder.

To light a wired LED without a Morsel or Ditto, the LED is rated for 5v-7v to get the max brightness, and has a resistor in line to limit current. So for example, 3 AA batteries in series (which is 4.5 volts) or 2 CR2032 watch batteries in series (which is 6v) will work.
